Ashfield Creates is thrilled to bring MishMash Productions’ performance Fishing for Haiku to The Ashwood Centre (Kirkby-in-Ashfield).
40 minutes long, with no interval, Fishing for Haiku is a show ideal for children aged 7-11 years and their families.
THE SHOW
Two musicians settle beside a shimmering lake, fishing into the water. But these aren’t ordinary fish… each one they catch carries a mysterious haiku that sparks a new burst of music, storytelling, and imagination.
As the musicians share tales, a warm and funny adventure unfolds, celebrating curiosity and creativity.
Packed with humour, beautiful classical music, and joyful interaction, Fishing For Haiku is an enchanting show designed to inspire young listeners and introduce them to a wide range of classical and folk music.
There are two performances during the day, so two opportunities to watch this fabulous show! (click the ‘book now’ button to book either the 11am or the 1pm show)
There will be an area at the front of the stage for you to sit on the floor- this gives you the best experience of the show, so make sure to bring a pillow or cushion to sit on!
