Whether you’re solo performers, duos or bands, we’d love to hear from you!
Got a guitar gathering dust? A voice that deserves an audience? Or maybe you’ve been dreaming of performing live but just needed the right opportunity? Well, this is it.
The Young Buskers is on the lookout for emerging musicians to bring the soundtrack to Ashfield this summer, and yes, you’ll get paid to perform!
A Stage for Emerging Talent
The Young Buskers project, part of the Ashfield Creates programme, has been created to support early-career musicians by providing paid busking opportunities across Ashfield.
The first performance opportunity will take place at the Hucknall Food & Drink Festival on Sunday 23 August, where selected musicians will perform at the festival’s dedicated Busk Stop.
“But I’ve never busked before…” That’s absolutely fine.
This opportunity is designed for early-career musicians. Whether you’ve played a few open mic nights, only performed in your bedroom, or are just starting to put yourself out there, the organisers want to hear from you.
If you’ve got the passion, we’ll provide the platform.
