Help shape The Creative Cohort!

It’s been a time at Ashfield Creates and we’re super excited to announce that we’re launching our support offer for local Artists and Cultural Businesses: The Creative Cohort.

The Creative Cohort is an offer of development activities such as workshops, mentoring, go and see trips, support services and much, much, more to enable artists and cultural businesses based in Ashfield to thrive.

We’re super excited about this strand of our programme and are thrilled that it is open to everyone who identifies as working in the arts and cultural sector in Ashfield. So, whether you’re an independent artists, creative practitioner, company, community arts group or venue, we want to hear from you to make sure what we offer is as useful as possible!

Equally, if you’re interested in working in the arts or creative sector and want to find out more about how to get started, this will be the place to do just that!

There will be two strands of support within The Creative Cohort focussing on developing your artistic practice (everything to make you a better artist and creative) and developing your creative business practice (everything behind the scenes from funding to finance, marketing and engagement).

Send us your wish list – tell us what you want!

Before we start shaping the programme, we want to make sure it responds as best as possible to those it’s designed to support. So, we have a quick 20-question survey that we would love all those involved in the cultural sector in Ashfield to fill in. The survey is open until Tuesday 5th May at 10am, so click the link below and share your thoughts!

We can’t wait to hear how your thoughts and start developing activities to enable your artistic and creative business practice to thrive!
