This summer, step inside something completely different.
Daedalite, by Architects of Air, comes to Titchfield Park, Hucknall from 17–19th July. It’s a giant inflatable walk-in maze filled with glowing light, colour, and curved spaces.
Come in, wander, sit, or lie down and take it all in. Outside disappears and you’re surrounded by shifting light and colour that feels like stepping into a dream, walking through a stained glass window, or even being aboard a spaceship.
Fun, relaxing, and surprising, Daedalite is designed for everyone and offers a totally unique day out for all ages.
Daedalite is a spectacular giant inflatable sculpture filled with winding paths, soaring domes and radiant light and colour. Part of the internationally acclaimed Luminarium series, which has captivated millions of visitors worldwide, it offers a unique sensory journey for audiences of all ages and backgrounds, including those with physical disabilities and mobility needs, making it a brilliant start to our summer of events, experiences and more.
Throughout our weekend at Titchfield Park we will be hosting a wide range of sessions between 10am and 4.30pm with dedicated sessions for those with Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND) as well as sessions for Grown-Ups only. Importantly, this is a ticketed event

However, we are also offering a number of dedicated sessions especially for SEND groups. These sessions are longer at 45 minutes and have a reduced capacity so that you can enjoy the Lumini in the way that suits you. When booking for one of these sessions, one Carer ticket becomes free for every SEND Child or Adult ticket purchased.
Quiet & Calm Sessions: Saturday 18th July & Sunday 19th July at 10.30am
Loud & Active Sessions: Saturday 18th July at 11.30am
Visitors and/or carers of visitors with additional access needs, particularly those who may experience difficulty queuing are encouraged to make themself know to staff at the lumini entrance on the day.
The Lumini itself is fully wheelchair accessible but is not suitable for mobility scooters. The event is taking place in Titchfield Park with the Lumini situated on a grassy area. Adverse weather may effect certain wheelchairs accessing the structure should the ground become muddy or waterlogged. Titchfield Park has very limited accessible parking on site, with the nearest main carparks being in Hucknall Town Centre.
Lumini are highly visual installations that use colour and light, however those with a visual impairment are welcome to explore and enjoy the atmosphere and ambient soundscape.
Lumini are not suitable for assistance dogs, so we ask that they remain outside, where we will happily look after them while you enjoy the experience. If it is not safe for you to enter the lumini without your assistance dog, we will insist that your assistance dog wears shoes in order to enter, this is to avoid damage to the structure.
