About this Event

Join Karen Walsgrove for a friendly collage workshop, a relaxed space where you can enjoy cutting, layering and combining images to create your own visual story.

The session is open to all ages and experience levels. You’ll have access to magazines, stencils and scrap materials, and we’ll share simple tips to help with composition and creative ideas. There will be gentle prompts to get you started, but plenty of freedom to experiment and follow your own inspiration.

Whether you’re brand new to art or just want to spark your creativity again, this workshop offers a welcoming environment to slow down, connect with others and make something unique to take home.

All materials are provided, just bring your curiosity and imagination!

Karen Walsgrove is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice moves fluidly across drawing, painting and mixed media. Working with materials ranging from graphite and coloured pencils to pastels, watercolour and acrylic, she embraces the expressive possibilities of each medium.

At the heart of her work is a deep passion for collage, where layered textures, fragments and intuitive composition come together to create pieces that are both playful and reflective. Her work invites viewers to discover new narratives within familiar forms.
