This relaxed, hands-on workshop explores the art of collage. During this session, participants will experiment with combining image, text, colour, and texture to create artworks.
Working with a variety of found materials and resources, there will be plenty of opportunity to play, explore, and develop ideas in a fun, supportive, and informal environment. No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided.
Amelia Daiz is a socially engaged artist with a decade worth of experience delivering creative workshops in community settings. She works for a range of organisations including as an Associate Artist at Nottingham Contemporary, a facilitator at The Carousel running regular Collage and Cocktails evenings and as the director of Meanderers; an organisation based around walking, creativity and wellbeing.
