Additional Information

Bailey is a sculpture and installation artist from Ashfield, whose work revolves largely around form.

Like many artists, she wear many different hats- some for profit, some for pleasure. As an artist, technician, producer, aspiring curator, programme administrator and retail assistant.

Memesis (to imitate) is a word always present for Bailey when creating, and allows her to make sense of art, both in creating and digesting.

Tangible, tactile objects are where her passion lies. Mostly expressed through sculpture, using metalwork and textiles but spreading into bookbinding, graphics and more. previously working at an FE and HE College, she fell back in love with print, using screenprinting, risograph, Lino, etching and more. Now creating work in a bedroom studio, print mediums such as lino have largely taken hold of her practice.

Getting crafty and making Christmas cards, valentines for a lucky few, and throwing herself into the production of exhibitions and community projects.
